| The Down By the
River Quilt Guild of Portsmouth Ohio began a warm relationship with
Canter's Cave 4-H Camp in 2000 with the advent of their first annual
"Quilt Camp" held at Canter's Cave 4-H Camp.
In response to an appeal for fundraising assistance for the Building Project as Canter's Cave 4-H Camp, a quilt top was made and donated by professional quilter, Sherry Euton of Wheelersburg. She is a member of the Down By the River Quilt Quild, and the guild agreed to have the quilt top professionally hand quilted and to provide the materials needed to finish the quilt. The quilt in turn was donated by the guild to Canter's Cave 4-H Camp to be used as in a quilt raffle to benefit the Building Project. Tickets may be sold by members of 4-H clubs from Canter's Cave 4-H Camp's service area. The club achieving the highest average dollar ticket sales per member will be treated to a pizza party by Ken and Melanie Warman, Portsmouth, Ohio. |
